Prompts & charts

Turn training data
into better questions.

Copy a prompt, adjust the dates, and ask your assistant to show its work. IntervalSync can provide the detail behind the answer — from a season summary to a single hard repetition.

Copy and adapt

Start with these prompts.

These work in Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, or any other assistant that supports remote MCP, once IntervalSync is added as a custom connection. They are questions — not medical advice, and not a substitute for a coach. Ask the assistant to flag uncertainty and to name the source dates it used.

Weekly review

What did this week actually do?

Useful after a training week or a block.

Review my training from [START DATE] through [END DATE]. Summarize volume, activity count, load, intensity distribution, key sessions, recovery signals, and the one thing I should adjust next week. Cite the dates and activities you used.
Year over year

Eight weeks vs. last year

Compare equivalent dates instead of a vague “last year.”

Compare my training from [THIS YEAR START] through [THIS YEAR END] with [LAST YEAR START] through [LAST YEAR END]. Contrast total duration, sessions, training load, intensity distribution, long rides/runs, and fitness trend. Explain what is clearly better, worse, or simply different, and cite the data windows used.
Interval execution

Did I hit the work?

Uses interval-level execution and compact repeat groups.

Analyze activity [ACTIVITY NAME OR DATE]. Compare each work interval with its target. Show the repeat group summary first, then call out any repetitions that materially missed power, heart-rate, cadence, duration, or recovery targets. Separate facts from coaching interpretation.
Durability

Power, HR, and drift

Ask for an honest read on late-session response.

For activity [ACTIVITY NAME OR DATE], assess whether power and heart rate stayed stable across the main work. Look for decoupling, heart-rate drift, power variability, cadence changes, and repeat-to-repeat fade. Tell me what the data supports and what it cannot prove.
Readiness

Train hard today?

Use wellness and recent training together.

Review my last 14 days of training plus available wellness data. Am I carrying fatigue that should change today’s workout? Summarize the evidence, list the data that is missing, and suggest conservative options rather than a single definitive instruction.

Not medical advice. Fatigue, illness, and injury are not visible in training data. An assistant’s read on readiness is a prompt to think, not a clearance to train — if something feels wrong, ask a doctor or your coach.

Plan ahead

Make the next seven days clearer

New accounts have 30 days of full access; later Free is read-only. Any write still needs your confirmation.

Review my recent training and planned calendar for the next seven days. Suggest a balanced week that fits my stated goal: [GOAL]. Do not create or update any workouts yet. First show the proposed sessions, rationale, and recovery tradeoffs for my approval.
Charts worth asking for

Use a chart when the shape matters.

Raw one-second streams make visual questions possible. Keep each request focused, and ask for a simple explanation of what the chart does — and does not — show.

Interval execution

“Plot power and target across the main work of [activity]. Mark every work interval and explain where execution changed.”

Heart-rate response

“Plot power and heart rate for [activity]. Is there meaningful drift after accounting for changes in workload and recovery?”

Pacing and terrain

“Plot speed, power, and elevation for [activity]. Identify the major climbs or surges and explain how pacing changed.”

Plan boundaries

Know what your plan allows.

Pro is $5/month or $49/year. An active monthly partner code makes the first two monthly billing periods free; an annual code takes 50% off the first year. How promo codes work.
