Coach plans and Pro Team.
Read by agreement.
IntervalSync has two new ways for an AI assistant to read training that is not your own. A Coach plan lets a coach's assistant read the athletes who choose to share with them. A Pro Team lets two to ten people who train together read each other's training. In both, nobody's training is read until that person has agreed to it, and it is read-only.
This page says what each one is, who pays, what is shared, the limits, and what happens when it ends. The terms of service are the rules, and the privacy policy says what is stored.
Coach 5 and Coach 15
Coach 5 costs $15 a month or $149 a year and covers up to five athletes. Coach 15 costs $29 a month or $289 a year and covers up to fifteen. It is the coach's own subscription, and it includes everything in Pro for the coach's own account. A new account's 14-day trial includes coaching up to five athletes until the trial ends.
The coach pays. An athlete needs no plan of their own to share with a coach: an athlete on Free can. A Coach plan pays for the coach's access and not for the athlete's, so what the athlete's own assistant can do is still set by the athlete's own plan.
The athlete decides. The coach sends a single-use invitation, which expires after seven days, and opening it shares nothing. The athlete approves access on a page that names the training account it covers: always the one they signed in to IntervalSync with through Intervals.icu. From then on the coach's connected assistants can read that athlete's profile, completed activities and sensor streams, planned workouts, wellness records and sport settings. They cannot change the athlete's records or calendar, and they never see the athlete's saved training context or feedback.
Each read by a coach appears in both accounts' histories, and the athlete's copy names the coach and the tool used. The athlete can withdraw the permission at any time, the coach can remove the athlete, and the next read is refused.
A shared context with each athlete. A coach and one athlete can keep a brief (a goal, focus, priorities and constraints) and the updates the two of them publish. Only the two of them and their connected assistants read it. A coach has one such space for each athlete the plan covers, and athletes never see one another's. The athlete needs no plan of their own for it: they read it and publish in it, in their portal and through their assistant, while the coach has a Coach plan or its trial, and doing so uses none of Free's daily data pulls.
Pro Team
A team is two to ten members who share one context and read each other's training. An account can be in one team at a time, whether it made the team or joined it, and only the team's owner invites.
Everyone is on a plan of their own. A team is not a subscription and costs nothing extra. Each member is on Pro ($5 a month or $49 a year), a Coach plan, or a trial that is still running. The shared context opens once two such members have joined.
Each member decides what of theirs is read. Making a team or joining one means agreeing that every other member's connected assistants can read your training, from the training account you sign in to IntervalSync with. You agree on a page that shows what is shared before you do, and opening an invitation shares nothing. What is read is in five groups: activities; wellness records; planned workouts; a fitness and load summary; and the athlete profile, with the weight and resting heart rate entered in it, and each sport's zones.
All five are ticked when you first agree, and you can change them on the team's card at any time; a change applies to the next read. A member who shares at least one group reads whatever each other member shares, and a member who shares none reads none. The others read it and cannot change anything, and they never see your saved training context or your feedback. The agreement covers members who join after you, and a read of you appears in your activity history with the reader's name.
The limits
- Every plan has a daily limit. Pro and the trial can make up to 300 calls to Intervals.icu per UTC day. Coach 5 can make up to 800 and Coach 15 up to 1,800, for the coach's own reads and their reads of athletes together.
- A team member's reads of the others count against their own daily limit.
- A Coach plan covers five or fifteen athletes. If more athletes share with a coach than the plan covers, it covers the ones who shared first.
- A team is two to ten members, and an account is in one team.
- A member can publish up to 50 updates per UTC day across their shared contexts. Updates are kept for 90 days. An assistant publishes only when its member asks or agrees.
- A plan that ends closes the door and keeps the place. A team member whose plan ends is read by nobody and reads nobody until they are on a plan of their own again; the others are not affected. If a coach's plan ends, the shared context is closed to the coach until they have a Coach plan again, and to the athlete unless the athlete's own account is on Pro, a Coach plan or a trial that is still running.
When it ends
A coach and an athlete. The shared context and the permission to read end together. When the athlete stops sharing or leaves the space, or the coach removes them, the athlete can no longer read the space and the coach can no longer read the athlete's training.
The coach keeps what both published there as a record that nobody can add to or be invited to, readable while the coach has a Coach plan, for one year from the day the space ended; the coach can delete it sooner. However the space ended, the athlete keeps a copy of their own: the space's name, the coach's name, the brief as it stood and the updates both had published. It is kept for one year on any plan, the athlete can delete it sooner, and it can be read while the athlete's account is on Pro, a Coach plan or a trial that is still running. The athlete may let a later coach who reads their training read it too, so what a coach writes in an athlete's space stays with that athlete.
A team. To stop sharing and keep your place, untick every group on the team's card. To stop altogether, leave the team; its owner closes it instead. Leaving, being removed, the team being closed or deleting your account ends the sharing, and the next read is refused.
Training data an assistant has already been given follows that assistant provider's rules.
